Thanks towcat, got her in tonight after removing y pipe. I ended up re using t19 fork it works fine I would of got zf but I gotta get this thing running tomorrow.
Im in the middle of this swap and I have some questions. Do you have to remove the y pipe and starter to install the zf? Also I cut the throwout bearing fork open a bit and it fits the zf5 throwout but Ive heard the fork needs some weld bead built up on it to move the throwout bearing a little...

Well I managed to crash the ol 6.9, almost sold it but I found a deal on a front clip off an old bronco that was dead in some woods so we worked on it all weekend now she just needs a radiator and Ill be back on the road.

The only thing holding the IDI back is the lack of aftermarket support. It has been proven by NMB2 and Racindrummin these engines are stout enough to handle enough fuel and boost for 400hp.
