it won't turn off
So, i got my S1600 running like a top, but now if it runs for more than 20 miutes or so the shutoff solenoid is sticking. It won't turn off unless I bump the key on and off a time or two. I'm sure that's real healthy for my glo plugs. Suggestions on not invasive ways to free the plunger...- nsjames

Spotted this yesterday
At the BMV while I was taking care of my own IDI paperwork. it said turbo diesel on the fender. Thought some members here might like to see it. It was clean. I was in a hurry so you just get the one bad phone picture.- nsjames

Cleaning up the engine bay
I've got a big mess of diesel fuel and grime in my International. It's all in the valley up top and pretty much everywhere. I'm going to have the alternator out for a while so I figure now is a good time to clean it up. Suggestions? unfortunately the barn it's stored at has no running...- nsjames

Carrier bearing questions
How much play is normal in a center support bearing? My recently purchased S1654 has a bad driveline vibe on decel, well anytime the drivetrain isn't loaded up actually. Help a newb.
I am a complete newbie to diesels and IDI motors. I am very much contemplating buying a used Uhaul with 250K miles on the clock. It's a 1989 S1600 with the 7.3L motor and a spicer 5 spd. I want to load my Jeep in the back and haul it around and get decent mileage. Guys that have done it...- nsjames
