Wheel bearing change.

I let a friend borrow my truck to pickup a deuce and a half and (luckily) it let loose before he picked up the trailer. It chucked a belt, took out the fan shroud and there is literly inches of side to side play when you grab the fan :eek: I got to test out the new tow pig, 03' Excursion...- KyleQ

Looking to buy a 2003 Excursion with a 6.0
I've got to put an armrest cover on the driver side. The heated seat doesn't work wither... so I've got to see what causes that. Overheat compass is dark as well - buttons did nothing. I need a new rear bumper and some tiny touch ups on the paint to keep it clean and I think I'm good.- KyleQ

Yeah - manual hubs. Never had auto's on anything... Auto hubs pull the clutch in via vacuum - as long as the seals are good and the hub isn't improperly serviced, they work great.... until you push the button and hammer down only to get buried. F those things-- KyleQ

4WD is really two wheel drive plus - 2WD is one wheel drive plus. I drove for two years with the hubs locked in - no ill affects, including driving 14 hr+ in 4wd at 80mph. My 6.9 stays plugged in all the time, so that isn't a big deal for me either. Normally I would run an Oaisis report on it, but I know its had an engine swap and a ton of work done - should I be worried or not?- KyleQ

I only know of what I've read on what people do to fix and prevent failures of the motor (EGR, HPOP, coolant filters, etc etc) but I know nothing of the FICM - should this be a worry? With the Edge CTS I should be able to monitor everything I need to, correct?- KyleQ
