Hi all,
I drained out my coolant today - about 6 gallons. Got 3 gallons back in and then it seemed full. I assume it might be related to the thermostat being closed. Ran it for about 4 minutes then shut it down. Took off the cap and pressurized coolant came out.
What am I missing here...
In my travels to local junk yards, I'm keeping my eyes open for a nice set of front shocks. Maybe a pair that were replaced just before the truck was wrecked.
Which year front shocks will interchange with my 88 F250 4x4 (dana44HD TTB)?
What's the best way to remove them at the JY...
I've worked on many RABS valves in the lab (20 yrs ago). A quick test you can perform with minimal tear up to your vehicle is the following:
1. On the end of the RABS valve opposite the wire pig tail is a large hex endplug. Remove it and you'll see a spring and below that a piston.

Although I have a 7.3 IDI, I picked up a fuel...
Hi all,
First post and thanks in advance for any input.
The PO used epoxy to seal the small oring leak path in my fuel heating element. Now it leaks and I can't separate the metal plate from the plastic frame that holds it. I posted in the Market section looking for a good heating...

Hi,
1988 F250 IDI fuel heating element (metal plate with plastic frame). Mine leaks and has been epoxied together so I can't re-seal it. Ok if yours needs orings.
Will take the entire fuel filter manifold with heater installed if you have it.
Thanks,
John.
