Transmission oil cooler dilemma
Hi everyone, I'm trying to figure out what tranny oil cooler I want but I'm running into more confusion than fact. Transmission is an E4OD I'll be pulling a 5th wheel weighing around 13k loaded. When researching for the coolers I'm finding Tube and Fin, Plate and Fin, and Stacked. Fancy words...- CurtIDI94turbo

Hi Jeff, Are you sure you tested your glow plugs properly? It sounds like exactly the same problem I had all the way to plugging in the block heater for easier starts. It sounds like you do have a vacuum leak somewhere. This is an issue with an older truck as things get brittle. My truck is leaking from the environmental control system and I’ve been having the same problem as your describing. When you shut the truck down do you here any hissing?
