F350 auto hub slipping/grinding noise
On my 94 F350 with factory auto-hubs when I shift into 4wd I get a slipping/grinding noise from the drivers side hub and it seems to not fully engage in 4wd. Rust Proofing YES!
Yes, powdercoat and POR, Rustbullet, Master Series, and the others all have the same problem...they are hard, become brittle, loose adhesion, and then trap moisture. Epoxy primer, then paint is the best option that you have.- coletrain777

diagnose blown head gasket
What are a couple of the best ways to check head gaskets on our idi's? Normally I would do a compression check, but I don't have a gauge that will check that high of psi. possible to pull engine and trans todether F350 zf5 4x4
If I removed the front clip is there any problem with pulling the engine and trans together as one unit. I will use the front end loader on the tractor to remove it so I am not worried about the weight, just the feasibility.
