I am needing some help setting IP timing on this 3 cylinder yanmar, model # 3TNV70
It has a mechanical pump, and a 4 bolt IP gear, that is on a “sleeve” thats keyed onto the IP shaft.
When I took it apart, I removed the gear from the “sleeve” and now when I turn it over by hand, the plunger on #1 is still pressurizing when #1 cylinder rolls past tdc = late injection.
What do i need to do to get it back to correct?
