White smoke on hard accell?

I have this from time to time, sometimes more than others, I'm debating installing new injectors, but could it be something else? I have no idea how many miles on the IP or injectors

It might be the injectors, pull those suckers out and have them tested. The pump may be bad if it has a lot of miles or hasn't been cared for. Also your timing could be a tad retarded.

where would be a good place to get the injectors tested?

Try any good injection shop, steer clear of anyplace that wants to charge you $50 to check them, a nominal fee ike $25 for teh set would be OK, but a lot fo shops will do it for free. If you don't have anywhere else to check, try the IH dealer.

For the price of new injectors I might as well order 'em up and stick them in

The two times my truck poured white smoke it was the pump. I finally replaced the injectors at 197K and could hardly notice the difference.
