What diesel engine in an Allis-Chalmers wheel loader??

A local junkyard has an old loader that they dont use anymore- runs fine, hydraulics work, but it wont move under its own power. just taking a quick peek, there is no identifying tag to give a clue as to who manufactures the engine, inline 4 that has NO turbo- what is it, and would it be worth a damn to swap into a car/truck??

Depending on how old it is, it's probably a Fiat engine, not good for anything other than running an old loader

from my experience in doing salvage, if a junkyard retires a piece of equipment, it's used up.

depending on what they think its worth--id run a compression test first---may just need to be rerung--
