Why can't they make it as easy to change a few filter on a VW as the Dodge is? Had to change oil/filter,fuel filter,air filter,ac pollen filter,rotate tires and I still need to replace the rear pads and flush with new brake fluid.It don't need pads yet but I said at 80000 I was going to change them. Took me most of the day yesterday to do this course I don't in no hurry.LOL

At 80000 miles there is not much left on the pads but there not squealing or rubbing yet. On VWs the rear pads do most of the breaking so the rear pads wear faster. There ass backwards of most cars and most people that drive VWs don't make it that far on the pads.

Gotcha, you made it sound like they were almost new, but you were replacing them anyway....
