Hey there Gents,
I have a 1989 Chev V3500 crew cab with a 489 stroker and a US Gear overdrive to get my 4.10’s down to decent rpm on the hwy. A couple years ago my shift controller box failed and so have been manually opening the hood and touching the appropriate wire with 12v to shift.
WELL, I just found a circuit board on line to replace the old system on Amazon for $17.00 bucks! You will need a momentary switch to complete the fix (or you may be able to use your old one but I have not figured that out yet). You will be able to program in the 2 second shift delay. Also you will need to find a plastic box to house the circuit board if installing under the hood. I will try and post a couple pictures as no instructions come with the unit.
