Regarding the CDR replacement. Capping the CDR port and venting the valve covers to a Mann separator works fine. There is a lot less oil from the valve covers than there was from the valley. OK, so it is also a new engine.
Right now it dumps under about half way back because I want to monitor it. Engines seem to run better on fuel than blow by gas. So I will probably run it into the exhaust after the turbo.
