Transmission Question

If i am using my '97 Superduty to pull a trailer,that weighs about 6,000 to 7,000 lbs.,do i have cut on the Tow/haul mode and keep it out of over-drive?
It has a 5.13 rear gear,so bogging down the motor will not be an issue.

I think it's the E40D.It was just rebuilt before i bought the truck.The owner showed me the repair ticket and bill.He paid $3,200. to have it fixed,along with some other minor issues.

It is OK to tow in OD with the E4OD transmission. The computer will tell the trans what to do based on load.
