Has anyone purchased a torque converter from Precision of New Hampton, Inc?

The factory transmission has almost 200k with a lot of towing miles. While I have not encountered any problems other than replacing the front and rear seals, I am thinking it maybe time to start collecting the parts for a rebuild.

Due to illness, I have only put a few thousand miles on the truck in the last year and half. However last weekend I needed to go pick up another truck and trailer it back home, about a 650 mile round trip. For the first time in 18 years I was concerned that the F350 might leave me stranded.

A stock E4OD converter has around 25 square inches of friction matrial. My BTS converter is a triple disc with around 150 square inches of friction material. Now we all know the stock converters work fine... Till they crap out. So... Install a triple disc and don't worry any longer.... No... I have not delt with the shop you listed but gees... If Leno feels they know whats going on... That says plenty for most people. He has nothing to gain by indorcing anything...
