I don't own any strokers personally but a lender vehicle i am driving while I replace the clutch in my idi is a powerstroke. when i put it in reverse the the torque converter locks up. only happens in reverse and releases after a second of holding the brakes down and almost killing it because you are bogging it so bad. what could be problems here. thanks in advance

does it have a "range switch" on the transmission?
