sulfur substitute

Hey guys, do you think this GUNK sulfur substitute stuff really works or is it just glorified paint thinner?

This is what is in it:

1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene 95-63-6 1.0 - 5.0
Aliphatic Hydrocarbon Solvent 8052-41-3 60.0 - 100.0
Mesitylene 108-67-8 3.0 - 7.0
Naphthalene 91-20-3 < 0.5

Thats the first I've seen that. Sulfur is an abrasive and does the fuel system no good. The problem is that the refining to take the sulfur out also take away the lubrication in the fuel, which is supposed to be taken care of by the "additive package" in the fuel. I'd say use a good fuel additive like Power Service or Styanadyne and call it good.

Oh ok, i get it! why would they call it sulfur substitute then??? i know power service is a good brand and i have tried styanadyne, but they are a little pricy. I got this quart for $2.99! so im guna try it out, I was hoping there was some good to it.

why 2 stroke oil, I remember a lot of members saying that they were using it. Is it really cost effective?

Hey guys, this stuff sorta works! I have noticed a slight increase in mpgs and a significant decrease in mechanical noise. The engine seems to run much smoother. As far as power goes, i think it helps the engine deliver smoother power but not more, as i can not tell a difference in get up and go.

Or used oil is good too,,,filtered of course
