Shifter ?

I have been driving a lot big trucks the last couple months working harvest. I noticed some of our trucks have eaton fuller trans and on the shift knob it has a flapper deal build in for the hi/lo. Then it has 2 little air lines running to it.

? is has anyone seen one with an electric switch instead of air? I like the idea of the flapper deal being part of the knob. thanks

only electric type I know of is this style for 2-speed rears.

yeah that is what i have been finding. BD diesel has one that 60 something $ for the exhaust brake. I was trying to get the switch built into the knob. I wonder if i can take the air knob apart and adapt a switch to it?

You might be able to, but I think you would come out ahead just using the 2 speed switch.
