here's a couple '67's.the first model year of the 5th gen t-bird.
so in '67 the engine option was still the FE engine with the standard 390 and the optional larger 428.the 428's are pretty rare with a lot less being produced.

this one sports the optional 428 along with bucket seats.very cool.i prefer the grill of the '67 with it's single large bird emblem.

the 4 door option was only available in the 5th generation.though i prefer coupes as almost all of us do but, perhaps this was the coolest 4 door car ever, being that the rear doors were suicide.here's one.

here's a nice '68 like mine.so in '68 the FE was dropped with just like 4 left over 390 FE t-birds built.who knows if those are still around.with the introduction of the new 429 all others beside those rare 4,all got the 429.the 429 would go on to power the rest of the 5th gen birds as the only option.

My cousin had a 428 4spd. I probably should have bought it but I was a poor college student back then.

oh yeah, I've been eyeballing one that doesn't need much work locally, just not sure if I want to drop new car money on one LOL

There's another one that's relatively cheap, I just don't know if I want another project at this point.

Deep sounding 429 big block, runs and drives, accessories need attention. Come check it out. All original. My trade for nice motorcycle but cash is king.
