Rebuilding the 4L60

How difficult/expensive is it to rebuild a 4L60 automatic transmission for a 4wd Chevy K1500 pickup? It has the 5.7 engine in it. How long would it take.

depending on what's trashed, 1100 to 1700 installed. There's a bunch of aluminum parts that can get devoured and some updates for it. Otherwise, it's a thm700 that went to school. After rebuild it's a reliable trans and good for 100k police car miles.
