very cool - loved the part when Arnold asked it's 0-60 times... 3.8 secs then later on they said it could get as much as 25mpg - totally amazing.... no wonder we drive diesels... power and mileage...

Ever since I got my '66 Impala SS 2+ years ago, I've planned on putting a diesel in it. I started out planning a new 6.5, but after buying my '06, I've re-directed to the DMax. Hopefully I will start looking for a donor truck this winter.


I hate it when someone beats me to an idea! Saw the video. Obviously I like the powertrain. I like the interior too. Rest of the car . I will be going for a stock looking exterior, save wheels and tires; upgraded suspension; stock SS interior probably done in leather if the budget allows; and an LB7 engine and Ally tranny. Can't wait to get started!
