new stuff from napa

so i was looking online for some parts today and found some pretty interesting stuff.

when i do my glow plugs i wanted to do my injectors and valve cover and uvc harness etc, well low and behold napa has it all.

it looks like napa sells them with a new harness etc. The remanufactured injectors are so cheap-(edit its a typo disregard)

What do you think? Should i trust this stuff to put on my truck?

To be honest I wouldn't trust anything from NAPA, espicially anything that's remanufactured. I've seen too much that is of poor quality from them to want to buy anything that is vital to my truck's dependability.

right i know the injector is not right, thats why i put edit into the post.

What about the valve cover gaskets and the harness's etc?

How do you tell if they are the updated clips or whatever it is that keeps them in place better than before or something like that?

the obs with the 2 plugs dont have an update.

all you had to do was ask ive used all but the injectors.no problems so far trucks been running perfect for a year noe and still no problems

we get most of our stuff at the shop from NAPA.
competitive pricing, it usually works right the first time, very few returns on electrical stuff.

They're not always the cheapest, but they're consistently top drawer stuff..
or they usually have an econo line if'n y'all bein' a cheapskate...

put that valve cover gasket on yesterday out of nesscesaty Its comming off and goind back, biggest pos I have ever seen plugs wouldnt even plug in right and to top it off I have a code for an open bank.

double s diesel-so the valve cover gasket you have had issues with? When did you buy the gasket?

put it on on the truck sunday night , took it off on monday afternoon.
sent back to store on tuesday and picked up new one from ford on wed.

wow, well see what it looks like when i get them this after noon. How much are the new gaskets and uvc harness from ford or IH?

What about the felpro version gasket?

installed many many many ford gaskets, harness's, no problems,
installed one knockoff and had a problem.
dont know about the felpros, never tried, the price at the parts store was more than fords

so after many many hours friday and saturday i got the new stuff from napa installed. seems to work fine, the old ones were not in that bad of shape, kept them. I did notice that the glow plugs were berus and were destroyed. Well see how it goes.

Now when it sat outside for a night and it was 30 degrees the truck started right up on the first rev and no smoke. I went with the gpr109 from napa. Is this solenoid suppose to buzz when it turns on?
