Like a diesel generator, prob say 20kva, run it on black diesel, my dehydrator runs 9 kw bar heaters n a 3/4hp motor and a 3hp main fan motor. It chews a lot of electricity, take that off my power grid n feed it on black diesel should be sweet. There just a small Mech pump water cooled Diesel engine, should work fine,

What engine is on it? I have a small kabota stationary engine I was going to try on it at some point.

I don’t have one yet, it’s all just in my head planning, I’ll chase one down too suit my needs once I’m happy with how my Ute is running. I’ll get all my learning done before I commit any further, I’m planning any short cuts, settle oil 2 months. Drain the good off the top, heat centrifuge filter and mix, if all is good I’ll chase a generator, Ive seen plenty running kabota and Yanmar engines they both should be fine. Mech pump Mech injectors,

I do my learning first sometimes, sometimes in the middle, a lot of times afterwards. But that's why I asked. Keep us informed, sounds like you got a good starting plan.

Welcome to the site. There's alot of good info here. Sounds like you already have a grasp on running WMO. Post pics of your ute, stat!

Nice Ute!

It's always curious the vehicles that ford/Chevy/whatever releases in other countries. Look up some of the stuff ford made for south America in the 70s and it'll leave you saying, " I want one of those".

Yeah right there different ey, Na these utes here are converted by a company called Brunswick diesel. They import US military humvee engines n specialise in the conversions, the Ute was originally a 4.2L TDI 6 cylinder

I love it. Those utes are bad@$$! They remind me of the Mitsubishi L200 and Toyota Hilux SUV I drove around in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 06 Nissan patrol I have is coil spring all round there so comfy and they turn like a fork lift, love it. Still may waste some more money on it later after I do a tipper conversion on the tray and put a fresh 6.5 turbo optimiser in it, maybe
