Let me make a call tomorrow night. I found a boneyard in Pennsylvania near the Ohio line where I bought my engine block, turbo etc. . that was mostly Ford trucks. They had a 92 crew cab with doors no glass for $600.

This was a couple of years ago, but I'll get there number and post it back for you.

Ron, I just call J&J Sauer's in Sandy Lake PA (724) 376 2768 They said they have a 90 CC cab (empty, no doors) for $700. They specialise in rust free southern truck parts. Might be a better way than patching.

i just talked to a fella here, (southern Georgia).
he's got a '90 CC e40d, 7.3 dually.

we fired it right up, runs great. cab is in great condition, no rust, a lil surface marking, etc.
truck had 100k on it, no bed as he had a flatbed he's keeping.
he wanted $3,500 but after talking to him, I'd strongly wager he'll go WAY cheaper for a quick sale.

if you're interested, pm me, i've got his number, and I'm willing to store the truck on my farm. If nothing else, if anyone needs a good motor and trans, we could do an online parting out :p

Man you guys are tossing some good deals.
After my glass man/ autobody appraiser came over tonight to help get the bed, windshield and rear slider off the ole gal, he gave her a good lookin' over and :puke: also.
His big concern was the structural integrity of the B-pillars.
Said a good deal of welding could do the job BUT recomended a cab swap due to labor time and safety.
Well that did it for me. 2 little Butts and that will be the swinging factor to momma. :backoff :backoff :backoff
Gary, I like those numbers so far. ;Sweet Pm a comin' yer way.
It would be nice to have an E4OD but then momma would be driving her afterwards. :draw

Well today's second UH 3rd opinion is a bit more promising. :backoff
My buddy down at the local NAPA has a pair of wire welders and he stopped by this evening and he says that he has repaired floors and rockers in much worse condition with good results.
EH a true Michigander in my book. :rotflmao
The rest of the floor pan goodies have arrived as they were ordered before the thought of changing cabs came into serious play. cookoo
For the mere price of about 4 hours of welding and fabricating in the new tin, he needs a place to shoot some paint on his project 350 blazer.
Hmmmm. 30'x50' for him to do some spraying?
Uh OK! ;Sweet
Since this option has come into play, I am gonna proceed with caution at this point as the only money invested is floor pans and rockers. Cost $120.00
Plus sandblasting the cab for about $100.00
Momma has changed her tune abit seeing the receipts stacking up.
And no trick goody extras yet.
Other plans in the works but are top secret and have not been completly declassified yet. :Sly

Y'all that have gotten me some info :hail ;Sweet
I am gonna do some more research on what you guys have provided and have been presenting these options to the Admiral(wifeypoo) in case the fabricating option is not panning out. ;Really :D Sorry. ;p
I was initially trying to keep things around the $1,000.00 mark but hidden muck it upsare gonna make it hit the $1500.00 to complete at current rate of progress if nothing else crops up.
Not including the scheduled upgrades in store.
