need help truck smoking

So i swapped motors in my truck over the weekend. I installed a 7.3 na motor and installed 6 new BB's and two slightly used BB's, my turbo used reman pump and my factory turbo setup. When I got the truck running today it was running rough so I retarded the timing a little and the truck smoothed out. When the truck warmed up I took it for a drive. I noticed that when I started the truck it put out a little bit of smoke white/greyish in color. since I drove the truck about twenty miles the truck smokes constantly at idle. I am at a loss as for what to do. I did advance the timing about a dimes width and the smoke didn't clear up but the throttle response did seem a little better. I really don't know where to go now. I am unable to determine the smell of the exhaust fumes. I have not driven enough miles to determine if the engine is using coolant or oil. The truck seems to to have plenty of power and building about 12 lbs of boost. The truck runs smooth with no knock or noises out of the ordinary.

The engine I installed was used with 100,000 miles and it was a jasper rebuild. The engine had been sitting for at least 6 months. I did not hear the motor run before I bought it but the guy I bought it from did hear it run.
