my buddies 7.3 idi turbo is missing

When my buddy runs his 94 f350 it runs fine then just all of a sudden it start bucking and choking off then dies after that, you can get it started after a minute of cranking, what i told him to do is to check all his lines from the tank on up and the fuel pump, I took a shop class and Im puzzled???????

Fuel pressure check first (post filter)
Work your way back from their if you have bad fuel pressure.

Mine did this when the fuel tank switch valve died.

how would that effect the pressure? I thaught that was just a switch with no pressure goin through it

what is the fuel level in the tanks? does it do it if you switch tanks? if there is only about 1/4 tank of fuel then fill up and test drive.

sounds like the fuel pick up tubes might be broken off.

The tend to leak and create an air intrusion when they go bad? (FSV)
