Move location for transmission gauge sender?

I installed a Hypermax Turbo on my '93 F350 a couple of years ago and one of the downpipes comes so close to the transmission that I had to remove the transmission temp sender from the E40D transmission because it wouldn't fit. Well now I'm looking to sell my truck soon and I think it'd help a lot if that gauge worked, so I'm wondering if there's another location I could plug that gauge into? Or any other way to get it to fit?

TIA!

I used a temp probe on the drivers side in an unused port on the E4OD , I’ll take a picture and post it after work tonight

Not sure if e4od has a port in the same location but I had mine on driver side towards the bellhousing just above the pan. That's on a 4r100.

The E4OD has that same port. That is where I have my transmission temp probe.

Yeah this temp probe is on the drivers side as well. But those other threaded holes I find around the transmission could be other ports I could use then? Just as simple as screwing it into one of those and then plugging up the current port with something?
