The midship tank on my 94 had a leak, that I thought was the rollover valve. I dropped the tank today and found a hole. It was near the front corner of the tank, above the seam. Not a big hole, but any hole is one too many.

I debated on buying a new tank, but thought I'd try JB weld again. I did the midship tank on my 87 with JB weld, 2 years ago and it's still holding fuel!

I cleaned the rusty area on the tank and coated it with the JB.. There's still a few gallons of fuel in it and that helped me find the hole. I'll try propping the tank up tomorrow and see if the JB works on this one too....

another thing that i have used in the past is a patch kit that has a 2 part epoxy and a little square of fiberglass matting. that seemed to work, the only problem was i had too many holes and got a brand new one
