Hello everybody my name is joe and im from longisland,NY. Well i just wanted to say eversince i bought well actually barterd my truck ,1990 f350 7.3l idi last year for some block work i did for a buddy, i have just been learning so much from this site about theses engines. I definitly have to say you all are very knowledgeable gentlemen
and ive just been tinkering with my truck since. My father has a 1995 f350 dump 7.3 for his landscaping buis and also 2002 powerstroke 450 7.3l turbo. I tell ya eversince we went deisel we never looked back. I have recently pulled the heads on truck b/c found out that last owner did headgaskets and wasnt to bright of guy. When i pulled them i saw that there were 2 totally different gaskets. Well on my way to putting new ones plus since apart gonna do oil cooler and every other gasket it has. Ive read on here that oil cooler probs are noticed when oil in antifreeze? true? also wanted to know what best gasket sealer to use on these new gaskets such as waterpump oilpan exsaust intake...ect , or what you reccomend i do...thank you in advance
