Took my truck to dodge wiyh codes1693 and 1689.They told me these are false codes and to drive it till it breaksdown. Has anybody had this problem.It is a 2001.5 with an 65hp edge chip, AFE filter and boost,fuel preasure and pyrometer.

1693 is a companion code, its about always set, dont worry about it.
1689 is "no comunication between ECM and injection pump module" the description says "data link circuit failure between ECM and fuel injection pump. Low power, engine derated or engine stops.
