Above you can see the ratchet strap used to pull panel into alignment.

Very Ugly, but effective (I hope) stick welds from my little Campbell Hausfield 115V welder. Rods are 1/16" Lincoln E6013. High setting blew thru, low seemed fine but harder to start.

Started raining so decided to post this as a how not to weld body panels.

The other side is tacked in. Held without the clamps. More to do... thanks for looking.

After a long absence I have been working on this truck. I have all the mechanical things complete.... almost. With new batteries the truck cranked up and drove with no problems after sitting for a year and a half.

Here's the problem. Its leaking transmission fluid from or near the radiator. I am not sure exactly whats happening. Actually the first radiator I installed was bent from shipping. I thought thats why it was leaking. I just installed a new radiator from O'reilly's and its still leaking. Now, I am thinking the radiator may ne fine its a leaking hose. I am unable to see it happen and I have no help. Any sure way to figure it out with out buying all new parts?

Thanks for any and all advice.

The reason I quit working on the truck is that my dad had a heart attack and had to have quadruple bypass surgery. Surgery did not go well. I have been out of state helping my folks during a rough recovery for my dad. Thanks

You see that small exchanger up front, the one that's tilted? That's the power steering cooler. Is it coming from that?

I found the problem and now have a spare radiator. I punctured the hose going to the new transmission fluid cooler. Fixed now! Thanks all!!

It was the lower back hose. I had hard time getting it off old cooler. Guess I punctured it.

79jasper, thank you, thats where I first thought the leak was from, power steering cooler. I did reroute the hoses. Now they go under the radiator support bracket.

Here are some progress shots after I replaced the leaking hose...

Bottom pic first, top pic is second, last is middle pic with lights on.

It only needs a front bumper, which I plan to make later. I drove it to town and got fuel with no problems.
