Well, just came back from a weekend of free camping. Man I love Idaho more and more everyday.
Anyhow, we went up to the North Fork of the Boise River. The drive there was not too bad, there was 21 miles of dirt road to get there. At one point the climb was probably about 8% or so. Truck pulled the 5th wheel up and over without so much as a hiccup. Found a spot right on the river at about 10:45 PM on Friday night.
Saturday we spent some time casting and spinning. No real luck to speak of, neither my wife or I are real fisherman. This old guy pulled into the same area and set up camp with his motor-home and asked us if we were having an luck. Answer was no. Saw the guy about an hour later with about 4 Rainbow Trout, so the wife went over and asked him what his trick was. He showed her and she took to catching fish. All of it was really catch and release but from Saturday afternoon on my wife was catching Rainbow Trout like no-body's business. I'd say the rest of Saturday and the next morning until about noon today she reeled in about a dozen or so Rainbow Trout. I, on the other hand got really good at untangling fishing line and catching rocks.
Enough of the words, here is the link to the pictures: Pictures, enjoy
