WELL mother nature is teaching me a lesson about the cold and diesels. I 'm in the process of gettin manual for truck. Till then I need help, which solinoid is the GPR. Truck starts very hard in morning. No smoke on first 2 cycles, then smoke , then a sputter, once she has fire in her no problems for the rest of the day. If she sits over night for more than 10 hrs, she's a bear to start!Plugging block heater in doesn't seem to make a difference! I've only owned it 5 months . First 3 months lift pump would come on when cycling glow and would go off around the same time too! Now I hear it come on and stay on?I do have antigel additive in fuel. HELP! Any suggetions for debugging are greatly appreciated:dunno

The glow plug relay is the shorter one in the rear of the two. The tall one is the relay for the intake heater. The glow plug relay is a fairly common failure item. Do not buy one from ford. It will cost you almost $100 and it is no better than one you can buy from Napa for $35.
