fuel line buzz cold

we have a 2000 k2500 6.0l that has a stupic buzzing noise from the fuel line area by the fuel filter,when cold,mostly.whats the noise coming from?any help would be great.thanks,mike

change you fuel filter first! a filter thats restricted will make the pump work harder and it will whine and eventually fail.
