I hauled with the truck this weekend, and did not see any performance improvement from the Holley. As a matter of fact the fuel light remined coming on; however not immediately. Now it comes on only on longer pulls and the farther down the tank is.

I make some other observaations. The 1200 pyro temp was not reached and it took longer to get there. I wonder if it is beacuse I am getting a better flow of cool fuel to the IP. I noticed that there is a huge disparity in the water temp gauges between factory and Autometer. the factory gauge is on the lower side, and the other in the water pump was showing me a 220 on the long pulls.

I aslo noticed that these engins really do have a hoge drop in the torque curve once you get past 2300-2400. The speed will drop almost instantly on a good poull unti lit gets to the peak torque and then it will hang there quite impressively. top speed going up Reeser's Summit with 2 horses, 3 horses GN, 4 passengers, 50 mph. I think the GVCW was around 14K-16K.
