Front axle boot clamp

I'm getting ready to do the ball joints on the passenger side and I know I have to cut the clamp off of the boot to get the axle shaft out. I've read every thread I can find on ball joints, but none of them mention replacing this clamp. Do I get a new one from Ford, and does it require a special tool to install?

It think it is basically a dust cover... I would grease it up good and put a tie-wrap around it. Do you need to pull that apart to do ball joints?
