flatlander
plays dirty when losing
I managed to dedicate a couple of hours about a month ago getting the hitch installed on TDT, but I hadn't gotten to pull anything yet. Ken at DPS informed that if I just drove the truck around empty it'd probably take about 30,000 miles to break it in. something about the hardness of the rings he installed. . . mechanic speak, gotta love it. Anyway, I found myself at my dad's shop so I hooked up his tri axle equipment trailer and drove around town a little. My wife no longer even questions these rather strange activities.
Everything was fine, lots of smoke every time I took off, because I matted it constantly trying to get the EGT's up. If I can get a little time to wire up an RV plug and brake controller, I might even go haul the TT around a little.
Have you ever noticed how projects stretch out for 3 or 4 years?
