Ya only have to hook up one wire to make a 12v run,

Many are running the mechanical Cummins with NO WIRE by gutting the fuel-solenoid and installing a kill-cable; the kill-lever is already provided, needing only the cable.



Also, someone stated that the Big Ed truck was purely mechanical; maybe I am confused, but what is he using the programmer for ??

trust me, were the IC for my truck available I'd consider it. The Waterboy is about 1k - probably do that first as I'm running "bunker fuel" and it would keep my injectors and chambers clean.
