Never used the EDGE programmer ...but if its anything like the SCMT I'll keep my TS chip..

I'd stick with your chip. If you want more power, have it reburned.
The Evolution won't be able to compete with the chip in terms of HP gains, but it is nice to be able to read and clear codes.

I don't know if it's me, or the truck, or what...But I cant seem to get the programming right. When I first got the chip it worked great, but shifted too harsh. So I sent it back and had the tranny programming taken off. The shifts are good now, but it makes no power below 1500 rpm's and only pushes about 17lbs. of boost. Could there be something else wrong with my truck? I need my tranny to last a while, so I dont want to get HP crazy, I was just looking for a little consistency!!
