he wont part with this one for 3k.
it's far too nice of a truck at this point to ever take it out on salted slush roads.it's hardly likely the future buyer wants any part of using her in the winter.nice one.

"This is two wheel drive but with a little weight in the 8' bed it goes well over snow and with studded tires, it will go where you tell it to. "

^ pointless sales line.no potential buyer will be buying a survivor truck like that, just to feed it to salt.

Up here you can get trucks that clean all day long for $1500 if you don't mind 2wd and higher milage (almost got one but opted to pay double for a 4wd instead) So long as you stay out of Denver rust isn't an issue up here (winter beaters rust free from the 80s-current are fairly common), if your in Denver you get the joy of mag chloride (liquid salt) and that'll cause rust which is what got the cab corners on my truck and all the School buses at work.

Yeah for a plain jane truck even with the miles I think he's steep. If he had a/c in it would make big difference to me. Living in Iowa I try to buy colorado vehicles because they are rust free compared to Iowa or MN stuff.

2WD, Auto, no A/C, repainted, no turbo...pretty much worthless imo.

I see the non-ac as a plus personally. Repainted raises a red flag and I hate an auto. $8500 seems high, but if its as nice as it looks, it might be close.

Comparing that dually to high milage beat down gassers doesn't make since to me.
