I'm confused. How the h*ll does a judge have the right to make you repair an ex wife's vehicle; especially after she ran it out of oil???? Give that judge an enema! Of course, it was probably a female judge wasn't it?

It's proven these pstrokes will run on almost anything but the correct oil is recommended at all cost. Bad batteries cause a lot of starting grief and are probably shot in that thing. Charge them up and maybe add a jump from another vehicle to get it started. If it fails to start on it's own after that I'd look at the batteries for sure.

We are only separated at this point so me doing the repairs is going to save money. The batteries are a year and a half old and took a charge well. After adding oil it did start and run well. I think I'm going to have a shop give me estimates on all of the repairs, body and mechanical, to give me leverage when I try to buy my halfof the the truck back. It looks like the turbo pedesta or a high pressure oil line may be what's causing the leak. Hopefully this isn't too hard. I have pressure washed what I could get at and will be elbows deep in it soon enough.

Sound like low oil level is the problem. There are 2 ORB fittings on the high pressure discharge of the HPOP with steel braided lines going to the oil rails and also another plug on the back of the HPOP that I have seen leak. Also the ICP sensor on the DS oil rail and multiple ORB plugs on HP oil rails that will leak. Turbo pedastal O-rings are also common. Sometimes the only way to tell is to clean up the valley really good and then see where the leak comes from.

Oil type and quality are also important, and like Diesel brad said if they run too low they will die before any real damage is done. HP oil system will loose prime and induce air into the system. The ECM needs to see a minimum of 500 psi to command the injectors to fire. Hope this helps.

I got the turbo out yesterday and found the lower o rings on the pedestal to be leaking. I hope to have it back together this afternoon. Made some custom tools for the rear turbo clamp, will post some pictures tonight.

The truck is going to the ody shop for an estimate of all the damage that she has done to it, then I will subtract that off of my half of the buyout of the truck, she is freaking killing the poor truck.

Find the source of the oil leak. It's possible that the oil lines for the turbo have failed and are leaking oil (hoping this is the case as it's the easiest.) The 'Stroke will not fire if there's not enough battery power....it may spin over but won't fire. If you can, borrow a scan tool from one of the parts stores and see if there are any codes.

Well, I got the 'stroke back together, wound up rebuilding the cold weather valve as well. I clamped the pedestal on a bench with the old orings and applied 50 lbs of shop air to the top oil ports and it leaked where the rod comes out of the pedestal. Wasn't too bad, now I have a digital fish scale that has two minutes of use and I don't need for much anymore. If it wasnt for the rear clamp, this would have been a rather easy job. Thanks for the support everyone.

Now I have a line on a turn key "99 Dodge Caravan for a grand Just may keep the Excursion, we will see.
