So.. one of my guys topped off my 8.3 Cummins with one gallon of RV Antifreeze instead of red elc coolant.

The whole system is going to be drained flushed and refilled with proper coolant.

My question is can I run it for one day before we drive it to the shop or is it risky?

*Really* need it for Mondays job and to drive it to the shop but not if it could ruin the engine.

Depending on the type of rv antifreeze is used. There is ethanol based and ethylene based. The ethylene based is very similar to car antifreeze and should not cause any damage. Ethanol based is very ******* rubber and will damage the hoses and seals over time (although I do not know how long it will take)

Thanks.. Its Splash brand RV Antifreeze, propylene glycol based. Ethanol is the second ingredient.

Then it should be good to run for a while until you can get it to the shop. Just make sure you don't wait too long to get it flushed.
