Yep, just as I will do with a $60 scan tool in a few minutes to register the new keys with the immobilizer. I honestly don't believe Honda really ever intended it to stop theft. It was just a handy way to shakedown a few hundred dollars from frazzled non-technical people who lose their keys and come back to the mothership for help.
It's just like the auto rental companies; you will notice that they crimp all the keys together in a *** so they can't be separated. Then if you lock the keys in, they nail you for $300(ask how I know) to get them out again. It's actually cheaper to just knock the window out of it and claim someone broke in. Then insurance will cover it.
