On that 5th wheel hitch is it a rail mount system - Sherri and I are in the market for a new trailer and I'm leaning towards a 5er but I would like to be able to remove the hitch so that can still have my bed when I want (like 2 times a year in reality)... as you know I don't know much about 5er hitches so 'splain it to me like I'm a 10 year old....

Oh and does the L shaped tank go above the bed rails (tonnoue cover ya know)...

Hey Travis, Yes It is a drop in using the Reese Rails type.

Here is a link to the Reese Rails. They are perminatly installed in the truck. I did some checking around and see them for around $100.00 for the pair.

4 pins and and remove the hitch from the bed. Lift bending at the knees,...

The fuel tank is higher than the bed so a tonnoe cover won't work with it.
