No connection, just saw it & thought somebody may be interested in it:

Text from ad:
Up for sale is a LARGE 3 speed (under/direct/overdrive) Spicer Brownie auxiliary transmission. This is the large one out of the older semi trucks. Ended up not using it on my project.

I would like to get $500 for it, but feel free to make me an offer. Tired of tripping over it, so it will go to scrap soon.

Call Jim @ 541-760-7292

Thanks!

How could I adapt that in my truck? :dunno

I don't have the slightest idea. I remember some talk on here a while back though about Brownies so figure somebody (Towcat maybe?) knows something about them. Seems like it'd be kind of handy. I'm running just over 2k rpms at 65 in my truck, be nice to turn, say 1,800 at 70-75. I don't do a ton of freeway driving though so probably not worth the fuel savings in my case.
