Blinking Battery Light. Bad Alt?

Ok ive noticed my battery light will come on at low rpms idle-1500. Ive change the regulator, the needle stays up on the voltage gauge, but the light still comes on, so im guessing low amps. i rev the motor and it goes off. Any ideas?

make sure all your engine compartment grounds are good first and if they are, it's your alternator.
