Arena style racing with full on Desert Trucks

I've been gone so long that I thought I would share some pictures of us at the Terribles Cup in July of 2006...

They had this setup like a CORR race... small arena style track... We were fighting with our tranny and clutch at the time. On Friday we tore up 1st and 5th and thought we were finished racing. Saturday we pulled the tranny switched 1st and 5th, and put it back in the truck. It ran real good but in the qualifying run we lost 4th. For the final heat, we started 13th with only two gears..... We came all the way up and finished 3rd.

In the one series of pictures the yellow truck cut off our driver. Our driver held his line and wound up going over the top of him. It was a great race!

Man that looks like fun. I wished we had some racing like that in our neck of the woods. I always wanted to go for a ride in a Desert off road type of truck. I watch the Baja races or the Dakar rally on the TV every chance I get.

This here is kind of next to you in a round-about sort of way....

They have races in Wis. and Mich.... they used to have the final race in new york...

Not quite full off road but extremely fast and fun to watch.

This is what we are going to start racing also.... On the east coast the series is WSORR... on the west coast theres CORR. We are building a truck just for it... When we get the truck together I will post some photos of it...
