I found a 93 f-350 for sale around my area here and I want to buy the truck for the front axle and some other misellanous parts. He said it had a great engine with 217,000 miles on it but he had a clutch put in it and the transfer case came loose and twisted around shattering it and possibly damaging the transmission also. He didn't want to mess with fixing all that. I could get the truck for $2,000. If anyone would be interested in buying the engine I would consider buying this truck and parting it out after I got what I wanted off of it. It has a 7.3 non-turbo and I would sell everything on the motor too. I just mainly want the front axle and rims and tires some steering componets. I have not looked at the truck yet but talked to him couple off times. Anybody interested?

i am interested, although it depends on how much you want for the engine. I just recently read the article on this site about cavitation so i am reluctant to pay a lot for a 7.3 without knowing what kind of shape it is really in.
I am in N KY not too far from cincinnati and i do travel up the columbus area sometimes. Keep me posted please.
thanks,
paul

Its a single wheel regular cab. 2 grand is kinda steep but i can't find a dana 60 front end thats good for less than 1200 around here plus it has good rims and tires. So I figure if I was to buy a dana 60 I'm going to have about 1500 in it alone. As far as the motor just throw up an offer. Like I said I havn't seen it yet, just going off what the guy said on the phone. I'm going to go look at it this weekend if i do not have to work. If he stil has it?

I bought that truck for $1500.The back of the transmission case snapped allowing the transfer case to fall off.
Other than that and a leaking oring in the oil cooler the truck is in great shape.Truck started right away in 5 deg. weather and sounds good.
Already bought a used ZF5 out of Detriot,Mi for $350 if the weather warms up some this weekend I'll have it on the road.
F-350 4x4 srw 5speed with Dana 60 front end for $2,000, I'm happy.
Will probably wait until March before changing glow plugs,injector/return lines and removing 4" lift.
