Exactly what OldBull said, however it is more PSD based. There is an IDI forum there but I don't think it's as used as this one is.

There are a LOT more indepth PSD forums there, mostly newer stuff but you can get into the first gen. psd's there too.

With as many members and posts as we have, its nice if a user tries to help us out a little. It's even nicer if we understand what the hell they are talking about.

mike,helping is 1 thing but bein a whiny little #^$% about somebody askin the same question more than once or someone that can get a deal on parts is another.i see posts in the idi forums directing members to buy from places other than our sponsors all the time.i thought the main reason for this site was for us to help each other and not go the way of TDS.

all the parts dave needs for his truck can be bought from the sponsors but its perfectly ok for this guy to direct him to napa?but not ok for dave to find a part at a lower price and offer it to the other members?when this site started we were a;ways posting items from other sources with a better price if found.

Directing a member where to get a cheap part (NAPA) is totally different than starting a thread with the intent of selling parts and directly naming a site sponsor who is selling it higher than you are. If this person wants to shell out a couple grand a year advertising on several different forums and still sell cheaper than a paying vendor...more power to him.

im not attacking mel,i respect him and his idi knowledge but i dont see him listed as an advertiser but yet i see his pumps and injectors being advertised all over the idi forum.of hes selling pumps here shouldnt he be paying as well?
