aftermarket gauge questions

Ok,got a few questions.what Ohm rating would the Fuel gauge be on the Enterprise(16empty-158 full?)?Also :Sly ,Would a Autometer Speedo work on our trucks(with or without the use of their Hall effect sensor thingy)?Next,what exactly will I need to hook up an aftermarket tach?Can you tell I have been browsing?So far,my online shopping cart is up to $1036.44 plus shipping.

Ford is 78-10. I think the 10 is empty, but I could be wrong on that.

I show specs for 2 different types of gauges in my '89 info:

Bi-Metal 10 ohms=full 70 ohms=empty

Magnetic 160 ohms=full 15 ohms=empty


Not sure on the tach but these guys should be able to help if there's an interface problem. www.dakotadigital.com They were very helpful getting my electronic Toyota speedo to work with a Jeep transfer case.

Just checked my ford manual, 10 full and 73 for 2 needles width below E. For the 86 year.
