As for the DT... How did you get so lucky as to get one with a reward facing sump? Most of the ones I have seen have the largest part of the oil pan right up front... where it would hit our crossmember easily.

I dont know if we are thinking bout the same thing but Ive seen a 1970 Chevelle like mine with a Dura max in it,

That thing makes 900HP and 1800LB/FT and will do 9s in the 1/4 and still get 30 MPG
